Dear friends, we want to share with you a very belated but important report. In November last year @travel__bastards held a lottery draw with the main prize - trip to Svalbard, and with the collected funds, we prepared a bus for our friend @skaskiv. The bus has been doing it's job for a long time, wife of the lottery winner @labovova @vira.labo has already been on Svalbard, and now we want to share the details :)
This beautiful Mitsubishi Delica was bought in England (thank you @taras.stupynets and @snowwhite_lr for your help with the purchase and transportation). As always - fixed and updated the chassis, installed a new generator, in addition - performed maintenance on the engine, replaced spark plugs and crankshaft sensor. Also added some offroad tuning: installed trunk and snorkel, added Cooper Discoverer A/T tires and bought 2 spare.
This bus has a name - Mauka. Bohdan saw a figure of a Hawaiian girl on the panel, and Mauka is translated from Hawaiian as "toward the mountains." Perfect post-victory plan, right?
